Skills: Ability to attract the trust of the community, able to listen, share with everyone, singing and organizing some kinds of events...

Organizing skills:
1. Leader, Hello Hanoi is a Vietnamese voluntary students’ organization specializing tourism, established in October 2006 to May, summer 2007 to summer 2008

Why do I want to join Exco?: Experiencing many events of SIMVNC such as: Amazing Race 2009, Prom Night 2010, I really want to contribute my enthusiasm and spirits to the Vietnamese Community so as to have much more experience, make friends with all and especially have precious memories when studying in Singapore.

Why do you apply for exco : Firstly, SIMVNC is increasingly becoming a recognized Vietnamese community with a lot of events in 2009 and gradually represents the solidarity among Vietnamese students not only in SIM but in Singapore as well. Being an exco I will continue contributing to this duty (take the flag and pass the torch). Secondly, join in the committee as an exco it is a good opportunity for individual to gain the experience, to take responsibility, to make friends and have funs with others, there is no exception for me. I think it is the other side of our student life.

Why do you apply for exco : Philosophy has taught me to evaluate life and my experience. It is through that I hope to become an instrumental member of society, using all of my energies to bring about constructive change and create a path to the “good life,” not only for myself but also for others. And this is the right time for me to make it happens. I want to share, contribute and enjoy with all of you SIMVNC.

DOB : 30th March 1990
Program : RMIT - Bachelor in business - Marketing Major

1. Position desired: Head of Event.

2. Why I want to apply exco? It’s such a question I have been asking my self for long, and to be honest, yet has it not been clear in me though. However, some highlights that motivate me the most are great opportunities to broaden my network, likewise, automatically give me a feeling of closeness to other members. Second, real life experiences to explore in organizing events are passionate and attractive. It is basically a way to further my education that I’m able to learn through casual interactions with peers. Most of all, as I have experienced for more than one year being a supporting member, along with challenges, a lot of fun worth my time and effort.

Finally, and maybe most important, as I am in a couple of different student clubs, I think that it’s time for me to go deeper rather than broader. And I choose Vietnamese student committee, because the organization’s name simply shows myself, a Vietnamese and a SIM student. Being a member of exco, It’s also simply my hope to show others how SIMvnc is.

3. My skill and organizing experience?

Before joining SIMvnc, I was an executive of Hanoi Sign Language Club. I experienced how to organize club’s birthday party; club’s camping and meeting with Hanoi association for the Deaf. After that, I was a member of logistic team for Amazing race and marketing team for Prom night of SIMvnc.
